It has been almost a year I last joined any work out classes. Now I'm back on-track but doing step aerobics. First lesson was quite relaxing. Basically it is quite a low-impact high-engery workout (boxercise is more robust, energetic & co-ordinated workout) that emphasises the use of calves, thighs and buttocks. We also used held-held weights. There are occassionally whereby I couln't keep up to the pace and I just stood there and watched how they do it. Haha...
For now till September, I'm full of activities!!! Tuesday and Saturday will be training for our Mount Kinabalu trip. Thurdsay step aerobics. Saturday afternoon driving lessons. Oh yah, I have just signed up for in-line skating together with my colleauge which is on Wednesday starting mid-August. And I have my studies to do too which I am taking up two papers this time round. The next thing I going to learn will be swimming, probably will be after Mt KK trip.

Learning to Drive
Today, I have gone for my first driving lesson after passing my final theory test in Mar07. In fact, I have fear in driving that was why I have been dragging it. But I know I ought to do it and LH did push me too. I even asked LH question like how to hold the steering wheel etc. She just tell me don't be scared, just relaxed and go for it. The instructor will teach me. And LT said that too. I ought to be relaxed, not be scared then I will be able to learn. Know what, I even took out the theory book to have a refresh :>
I went with a relaxed mind and it was not as bad as I have thought. The driving instructor is quite nice and friendly uncle. First lesson is at the car park and basically I just step and release the brake pedal (because it is a auto car :>). He teaches things like names & functions of controls, switches & their usage, warning indicators, seat & mirrors, how to steer the car in and out etc.
Next week I would be driving on the "real" road with more cars moving left, right, back & front of me. Hope it going to turn out fine for me.
