Mt Kinabalu 8.7KM, I climbed for 6.8KM...

Together with my friends 8 of us, we went to climb Mt Kinabalu which is South East Asia's third tallest mountain. We can climb up to the top of Low's Peak (4,095.2m above sea level) and entire journey is 8.7Km to reach Summit Trail and watch the sunrise. Only JD & KG make it to the summit. As for myself I only managed to conquer 6.8KM.

The climb down is difficult, if not worse because of the pounding at the knees, legs and feet. Going back down the mountain is a hard thing. The big steps are a killer on the knees and muscles. All of us barely walk the next day!
